Subjectively invalid, preoccupied in Eptatretus by Paramyxine wisneri Kuo et al. 1994 -- (see Fernholm 1998:34 [ref. 23976] and Fernholm et al. 2013:7 [ref. 32793]). •Treated incorrectly as valid as Eptatretus wisneri McMillan 1999 -- (Mok et al. 2001:1026 [ref. 25820], Mincarone & McCosker 2004:164 [ref. 27642], Mincarone & Fernholm 2010:798 [ref. 30926], McCosker & Rosenblatt 2010:187 [ref. 30957], Mincarone & McCosker 2014:349 [ref. 33284]). •Synonym of Eptatretus bobwisneri Fernholm, Norén, Kullander, Quattrini, Zintzen et al. 2013 -- (Fernholm et al. 2013:7 [ref. 32793]).
